When you have "AUNTIE" working at mr bean, you know things will be shit. Lousy outlet, lousy and rude manager/staff. Told her I'm in a rush for time yet still let me wait (forever). Won't be patronising this outlet anymore unless the management does something about that arrogant manager. 🙄👎🏻

I purchased two Nori Chicken Eggwiches from the Mr Bean outlet located in JEM basement 1. With only one Eggwich left, I saw staff from Mr Bean cooking and flipping a new batch of Eggwiches and pancakes. I did not rush the staff as I was concerned that the Eggwich may not be fully cooked. To my astonishment, the staff handed me the Eggwiches almost immediately, including one from the new batch, assuring that it is ready. Unfortunately, my first bite into the Eggwich was the taste of cold chicken filling and both the egg and cheese inside were runny. I returned hastily to the stall and brought this to the attention of the staff. Instead of apologizing and rectifying the mistake, the staff tried to argue that the filling is “supposed to be cold” and the runny liquid is the “cheese”, which is “normal”. She unwillingly handed me another Eggwich and looked away. With this incident, I urge Mr Bean’s Management to explore further training for staff in terms of food safety and quality as well as customer service. Thank you.

Bought a tuna pancake from this outlet this morning, and was shocked to see that there was an unidentifiable object sitting inside the pancake, after taking a few bites. Initially I thought it was an insect, but after taking a closer look, I have no idea what exactly that is in my pancake. It is extremely off-putting, to see this in your pancake, and considering its size, not sure why the staff member did not notice it when they were handling the batter. Have been buying from this outlet for quite a number of years now, will reconsider patronising them again in future.

Okay … service was slow but manage to get my beancurd with rice balls. Glad I didn’t encounter any unpleasant experience like those feedback by other reviewers during my visit today.

Dear Mr. Bean Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store. A staff member in Jem named "Maggie" was rude and impatient. During payment, she seemed visibly irritated when she saw that I was using a $2.90 coupon. Her attitude, including giving me a disapproving look, was unprofessional and make the " zerk" sound. If staff are unwilling to honor promotions, I suggest the company reconsider offering them, as such behavior will harm your reputation. Furthermore, when we requested "least sweet" soy milk, she doesnt look at us and ignore to make the milk, despite there being no other customers. The soy milk we received was much sweeter than requested. This kind of service is unacceptable, and I expect better from a brand like Mr. Bean.

I would like to make a feedback complaint on the staff name of “Maggie” who served me in a rude way. I’ve been waiting for my order almost 20-25minutes just for a double cheese pancake. Her service is very bad. I hope with this kind of attitude manner need to be change.

Slow service. Paid for the item, told to wait 5 mins, came back later but the food is ready but item is not prepared. System is lacking.

Food was okay, staff was super rude to customers. Spoke to us like we owe them, one Malay lady used an almost yelling tone at me when I asked what were the porridge and pancake flavour choices. Please train your staff properly, not all your customers are familiar with you menu.

(JEM branch) Food was fine, but very poor attitude from staff. Asked if they had tuna and she just tossed the just-ready tuna flavor on the tray and said "there, tuna". Ordered our food halfway, she just walked off to prepare, and when we asked for a cup of ginger tea, had the audacity to complain to her other staff "didnt finish ordering in one shot" in mandarin right in front of us. Please stop letting your staff reduce the rating of your store.

I've always been fortunate to have been served by Alice. She is friendly and will do her best to attend to customers and serve them. She is patient and efficient. The products are fresh and healthy. Always a place I stop by when I am in the area. Five star rating here is based on the service by Alice.

Long queue at Mr Bean for tang yuan 汤 圓 are traditionally eaten during the Lantern Festival, but because the name is a homophone for reunion (traditional Chinese: 團 圓; simplified Chinese: 团圆; pinyin: tuányuán) and symbolizes togetherness and completeness, this dish is also served at weddings, family reunions, Chinese New Year, and the Dōngzhi (winter solstice )

Amazing experience, and it was really the excellent customer service that made my day. The counter cashier, Keith, was ever so patient to serve me and even offered me a new ice cream after I dropped my pervious one. Strongly recommended!
