Dishes were light on the palate. The signature chicken soup was disappointing, with mostly chicken bones and little meat, and strong cabbage taste. The cabbage with fried bean curd skin, cod fish and the yam dessert were good. Food, service and atmosphere were good overall, but a tad overpriced for simple fare.

The smell of the braised meat as you walk in is the best form of advertisement! For $10.80, with a choice of three different braised ingredients, it felt like a steal.
According to the staff, we had to try was Spicy Sesame Noodles ($13.80). As the name suggests, it’s heavy on sesame with a slight hint of spice. While we were there, the Truffle version was going for a promotion price of $9.80.
The Taiwanese-style Salty Chicken Salad ($8.80) was interesting. I couldn’t really describe the taste, just that it’s predominantly sesame and sweet with the apples. I haven’t had anything like that before. It’s strangely addictive.
The only dish we unanimously didn’t like was the Three Cup Chicken ($17.80). It’s a dish I try to order whenever I dine at a Taiwanese restaurant, however this was rather bland, barely getting any fragrance from the basil.
For dessert we had Mango with Coconut Pudding ($6.80). I couldn’t taste the coconut, maybe the mango bits and mango sauce overwhelmed the more subtle flavour. I wished the pudding was softer.

Enjoy the food very much. Tried the pork heart, stuffed peeled green chili and spicy sesame noodle. The spiciness made u want to eat again.portion is just right. Will try the soup next time. But the real presentation is same as the photo illustrated. Will come back again

I particularly enjoyed the spicy sesame noodles, pig ears and interesting, chicken soup with cordyceps and the taro toast for dessert.
I thought the portion of the spicy sesame noodles was quite small but it was very filling upon finishing. It was packed with hinge of numbness along with the salty sesame sauce.
The soup is good for two pax and it came with good amount of cabbage.
We went on Sunday night and it wasn’t too crowded. Price is a little bit higher compared to the Taiwan one but the taste is quite close.

We enjoyed our lunch. Simple and yet nutritious. Ambience is nice with good music.
Staff is less friendlier. There is low traffic as it’s about 2.40pm on sat. The serving staff seem to be eager to clear the plates while we are still slipping the last bit of soup. I didn’t like this. Otherwise all is ok

Wasn't crowded during dinner time. Had signature fried rice, chicken soup, spicy sesame noodles, dou gan & stir fry cabbage. The sesame noodles taste a little like mala style, has the numbing feel towards the end. fried rice & dou gan were good. soup has too much vegetables in it but able to taste the herbs used. There's many braised items as sides but we didn't try. Not bad experience though service was a bit slow during my visit.

Braised items taste not bad. Choose 3 for $10.80++. Pig skin, seaweed and intestines are not bad.
Signature fried rice is not too bad also.
Soup is for 1-2 pax, so quite alot of ingredients inside. But the vege used for the burdock pork ribs soup tasted abit bitter.
Service is good, but when clearing dishes, please dont try to pour sauces here and there when customer's bag and stuff is on the table. The sauce almost dripped onto the bag.

The green chilli chicken soup and the noodles are the show stopper. The soup is light, sweet and aromatic while the noodles are busting with flavour.
The remaining two dishes were honestly sub-par. The braised meats were excessively tough and the chicken salad with apple is on the saltier side (I have a bland palette).
There isn’t a dinner crowd on a Tuesday night, so much so that the restaurant is barely 30% full at peak. I am unsure if this is viable for the outlet in the long run.

This is one of the best Taiwanese cuisine spots in Singapore. The dishes truly capture the essence of traditional flavors—simple, comforting, yet excellently prepared. A place where authenticity meets taste, making it well worth a visit.

I found the tea tree mushroom soup to be quite bland, especially since I was expecting a burst of flavor. However, the sticky rice and braised dishes really impressed me—they complemented the chili perfectly and added a delightful touch to the meal!

Trying out this new place even though the reviews were very mixed. The signature fried rice was good, nice blend of lap cheong, yam bits, cabbage and chunks of eggs. Goes perfectly well with their special chilli oil sauce! The salt pepper rub pork rib is also a must try. Soft fragrant and pairs well with lime and the salt. Only so so part is the braised tofu and the 3 cup chicken, chicken was a little too tough for our liking. Overall not too bad. Might be back another time to try the noodles and soup which everyone says was tasteless. Lol.

Came in on a whim after I noticed all the Michelin signs and it was not too busy on a Tuesday evening. Beautiful interiors and very good service. The soup was so flavorful and refreshing. The sesame noodles were excellent. Will definitely come again.

Tried the spicy sesame noodles and is very interesting (if you love peanut paste, you’ll love it). The cordycep flower soup is fragrant also, the cabbage within the soup is fresh and huge. First time trying and will come back again!

Trying out this new restaurant at Jem, was told by the staff that this is a famous restaurants in Taiwan, and hence come in and try. The soup is nice and was enough for 2 person to share. The chill is self made and is not for sale. Had noodles and this braised dishes. Will come again to try their other dishes...

Tried this place recently and was pleasantly surprised! The chili was absolutely awesome—a Chinese-style blend that paired perfectly with the small prawns. It went especially well with the prawn crackers.
The braised pork intestines, collar meat, and seaweed were all delicious—flavorful without being overly sweet. The rice was another highlight: generous enough to be shared between two people, and the mushroom rice in particular is a must-order.
The only slight letdowns were the 3 wine chicken, which had meat that was a bit tough, and the vegetables, which were a little on the oily side.
Overall, though, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and at an acceptable level for the price paid. Would definitely return to try more dishes!
