I purchased a privacy mode screen protector for iphone16 pro max which set me back $70. Considering the price paid, I would expect a matching level of quality and service. The person who helped me with my purchase was a male employee. There wasn’t any issues at the point of purchase; he helped me fit the screen protector onto my phone and assured me that if there was any issues, I could come back and he will fix it for me. Note that on the day of purchase, the phone was off and I did check if he had installed it properly, and it seemed to be alright. Cue the problems that followed. The phone was a gift for my girlfriend and after turning on the phone, we realised that the screen protector has not been placed properly. It was skewed to one side and light can be seen coming out from one side of the phone. This can only be seen if the phone was turned on. In addition to the above, the touch sensitivity of the phone has decreased due to the screen protector. Occasional screen touch does not register, which I would not have expected from a product that costs $70. Frustrating indeed. The icing of the cake is when I returned to the store to get help with the above issues. The person that attended to me on my return was a female staff. She did not seem keen to help me with my issues or even to acknowledge that there was a customer behind the counter. Rather, she seemed more interested in playing on her phone. I told her my issues. From the get go, I could tell that she was not even slightly interested in resolving my issues. She simply told me that the product is not refundable as it has been over 7 days. I reiterate that I was not here for a refund but I wanted the issues fixed. She also repeatedly asked if I checked the product before leaving the store, as if it is my fault for not checking the quality of their work. After several rounds of “after 7 days cannot refund” we left the store. Truly one of the worst customer service I have experienced and also employees making fake promises in order to get you to buy something. I would not recommend going to this store for any mobile accessories, not only because of the abhorrent customer service, but also the overpriced, low quality products. If I could give 0 stars in my review, I would. 0/5 stars. Buyers beware.
