Shop got pasta wrong even though order through kiosk. However they redo it fast. Service size and texture of chicken aglio olio / gochujang penne good. Taste wise more towards strong flavors and oily.

Wonderfully made pasta with a great twyst, affordable price, and not too crowded during lunch!
p.s. take the deals, they are better than build your own pastas.
see the photo, I ordered Alfredo thinking there was mushroom but nope.
also, I saw the poster to "do a google review and have a free can drink" but they took it down immediately (though they did honour my review as the last one)

Rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced — the creamy Alfredo, poached chicken and corn chowder is a standout. The velvety broth blends sweet corn with tender chicken, while the Alfredo add a fresh, herby lift. Hearty yet refined, it’s the ideal bowl for cozy evenings or casual entertaining.

Came before, but felt like standards dropped. Miso butter pasta was good, fries were good previously, but as of now flavours are slightly deprived, and fries are hard. Not sure if they served me a fresh batch or tried to reheat a batch that was sitting for awhile. But overall still ok. Would rate this visit a 3 star, but average out with the previous 5

First time here & I’m in love with the pasta.
Gonna be my favourite pasta store now. The portions was enough. The sauce … the taste…the spicy .. Hit my taste buds… Gonna come to try other flavours…

Went to this place after reading several reviews.
We made our own pasta after choosing the base (creamy, aglio, laksa, or other choices), 1 protein, 1 topping
My kids chose creamy pasta with pepperoni and onsen egg while I chose aglio olio with prawn and mushroom
Can add more garlic and I love that.
I like my aglio olio and for the price of $8+ it's pretty worth it!
Creamy pasta is approx $10++
Overall it's a decent meal choice. Preparation is pretty fast too

Ordered the Creamy Alfredo and here are my 2¢:
The penne is undercooked as it is still hard to chew. Sauce, smoke duck, and the other ingredients are good. Mushroom soup is below warm level.
Overall, the food is served quite a good fast pace. I hope the management will read this and feedback to their staff about the undercooked penne.

The Gochujang is savory good. It’s a dark sauce which probably from Korea. This is one of the chef’s signatures. Love the edamame and prawn, so fresh and crunchy. There’s option to build your own pasta. However the pasta only limited to spaghetti and penne.

Quick dinner at Twyst Pasta @twystpasta! 🍝 While the pasta choice (penne or spaghetti) may be somewhat limited compared to similar takeaway build-your-own pasta concepts, there is a lot of "pasta"-bilities on the combination of toppings and unique sauce bases to choose from!
Have heard pretty good reviews on the 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝗼 & we customised ours with sous vide egg, sauteed prawns, clams and cherry tomatoes! The pasta itself was alright, would have preferred a more al-dente texture but the laksa base won it for me! Most laksa-based pasta we have tried thus far tends to be creamier, but theirs comes with an intense savoury and lemak flavour like a dry laksa and is not "jelat".
Also tried their 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 with spaghetti, mushroom and poached chicken! The miso base was appetising and umami-packed with a slight hint of sweetness, which kept us happily slurping away! For a $10 option (if you stick to the pre-determined toppings), it's a fuss-free meal with generous portions if you have the occasional pasta craving!

Affordable pasta and taste is good. Able to choose less oil and less salt.

Nice place for some pasta! We tried the laksa and miso butter which were both not bad, though the laksa was on a dry end rather than saucy. Loved that the pasta was very thin and al dente too.
Fries was crispy and generous serving. Will be back to try other flavours!

Cheap, good pasta, with good flavour. Ordered the Laksa Olio, Aglio Olio, and custom Smoked Duck Aglio Olio with Spinach.
All the pastas were well cooked, and seasoned well. Good portion of ingredients. Highlight was the Laksa Olio, try this if you have a stronger flavour profile.
Liked the idea that you could customise your pasta and build it from scratch. Service very fast, and staff were helpful.
Great place to stop by for a quick yet delicious meal.

Chicken karaage was good - dine with juiciness intact … while the pop fish isn’t that nice as the batter is pretty thick ….
The truffle fries is served with good portion and blended well with the right portion of truffles ….
The main dish - beef bolognese nothing to shout about - can have better ones elsewhere …
Drinks were not served with ice & cups - that’s a minus to me !
As for atmosphere - it is Italian theme serving outlet but was playing Malay music - quite disappointing!!
Overall, the price is fair !!

I brought my kids to Twyst to try their pasta, and we were all impressed! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. My kids especially loved being able to pick their own toppings and sauces. The staff was friendly and the space had a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. We’ll definitely be back for another pasta soon!
