We recently visited Learning Lab @ JEM and were frustrated with the lack of clear information. Despite having several questions, we didn’t receive satisfactory answers nor directed to review brochures or collect handout notes, and such. We also couldn’t find details on pricing or programs, and we felt rushed throughout the visit. Was also slightly difficult to engage with your reception staff effectively due to the posters on the table. Overall, we left without the information we needed and were quite frustrated with the experience.

Over rated . Sent my son for English . The teacher didn't inform us when he didn't do his work at all for a few months !!! Then was too late cos psle was just around the corner ....Their marketing is good , materials are good but the teacher that my son had was not good ! Most expensive tuition thaat we had and yet it is not worth it! Look for other places where teachers teach with a heart!

My son joined TLL Jem when he was P2 for English and P3 for Science. He had his PSLE this year and he got AL2 for English and AL1 for Science. Thank you to Mr James (English) and Ms Grace (Science) for the lively and fun classes. They have countless activities to teach the students the required syllabus in a fun and interactive way. Ms Gin Chua was helpful and kind. I liked her lessons a lot as it was interactive. I was getting bad grades for english until I joined her classes. I improved a lot every since I joined her class and I'm really thankful for her patient guidance. I am always looking forward to Ms Chua's lesson every week. She will also share some jokes to lighten up our day. It really helped me to relieve some stress as it was a busy year for me. Thank you Ms Chua

My child has been under Ms Gin Chua for English since he joined TLL. Ms Chua has been an incredible support during the pace up to PSLE. Her revision booklet is so useful. She also took extra effort to respond to my queries promptly and thoroughly.
She provided prompt progress updates and worked very closely with me, especially during P6. Her dedication and patience stand out, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her students’ progress.
No doubt TLL is a reputable tuition centre with good materials, yet it is equally important to have a good tutor. My child did exceptionally well in English in the end! Kudos to Ms Chua!

I attended TLL just a year ago. The TLL English teacher, Ms Chua, explained the learning points in a fun and unique way. For example, I had always been bad at vocabulary but Ms Chua used pictures and cartoons to help me understand the vocab words. My grade improved especially my composition. I would highly recommend TLL as their teachers are just awesome!

My child attended Mr James's English class and Ms Jessica's Science class. His subject understanding is well developed through the comprehensive notes, practices and drills, and both of them supported his learning and guided him whenever my child needs help. They are highly proficient in the subject and have great understanding of the exam requirement. Mr James's English class is always lively with a lot of idea exchanges and interaction in the class and he encourages students to participate in the discussion.
Ms Jessica's class is highly edifying and my child always come back with a firm grasp of science concepts and keen interest to know more about the science behind everything around him. Both of them are very nurturing educator who encourage my child positively and build my child's confidence. With that, my child had a breakthrough and achieved his best possible result in PSLE.

My children joined TLL JEM since 2022. Although I feel that tuition fees are very high in TLL, tutors have always been approachable and will take initiative to update parents on children’s progress. My son started off being an average student in Science and English, but under TLL JEM’s tutelage, he managed to exceed expectations in his PSLE this year for both subjects (AL1). We also like the ease of arranging for replacement classes due to sickness, school events or vacations.

I am writing a complimentary letter for Miss Jessica Poh who works as a teacher in The Learning Lab. I am a student of hers who has been in her class for 1 year, the class starts every week on Monday at 3 p.m.
Miss Jessica Poh is a wonderful teacher as she can explain the Science topics fully and clearly. She can also be firm and remind the class to keep quiet when we are too noisy. My favourite part is when sometimes she would go out of her way to buy the class snacks or drinks for concentration during any mock tests. She would even give snacks to the people who got the highest marks in the mock tests to encourage them to keep it up! (Unfortunately, I never got any extra snacks for highest marks in mock tests.)
