Was happy to see the item I want to purchase restocked this evening, but during payment the lady at the counter had a very unpleasant attitude and was just talking to another male staff.

Was served (or rather no service at all) by a Chinese lady. She was quite aloof, I tried to smile at her a few times but she looked like she rather be elsewhere than at work and looked at me blankly. Wanted to use a bank voucher and needed staff to provide me with the code. This staff snatched my phone from my hand and keyed in the number. Rituals seems like quite an atas brand but the service of the staff still needs some improvement 😉

Just found out this brand and their products are in reasonable price and smells good. Only problem is their terrible sales keep replying to me in Chinese with cold face, although I looks like Chinese but I’m not and here’s multiracial country not just Chinese…

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Rituals at Jem. The sales staff maintained a close distance without offering assistance. When I inquired about the difference between the shower oil and body oil, the response was brief and given in Chinese, which I found unhelpful.

I love the aromas and fragrances from this shop. Whenever I walk past I'm always very enthralled and drawn in. I use loccitane aesop diptique khiels cerave calecim and also mainstream brands like loreal and biore. What I liked about my purchase on 1 March 2025 was one lady tried to offer help without me asking. Not sure if it was the same staff. She also sprayed the perfume that I bought on the paper bag. She was very smiley and when I asked about whether their candles contain lead. She said she wasn't sure and would check on that next time. She may not know it but was willing to learn. So far the scents are very delightful but as I guy I don't find the homme range as attractive as their home and skincare range for ladies. All in all I enjoyed myself a lot. The price point by the way is much lesser than khiels and aesop which is a plus point. But more than brands like fresh and biore. It's like the middle between the mainstream and luxury which many may find acceptable if they take a liking to their texture effectiveness and consistency. I couldn't find much information about their sustainability and perhaps their ingredients may not be as pure or luxurious as aesop. Which I find is still one of the best I've tried. Rituals is just not so widely known in Singapore I feel. Still pleasant though and so far, enjoying all the products I've gotten last Saturday. Pictures before and after opening attached for your reference. 😉 Ps... It's my second time at the store. Might go back again to explore... Packaging is sustainable and the design and feel is quite middle upper class definitely. However one of their lip balm on display was totally wrecked lol. When I got back the edges started to chip as well. So not so ideal... But not a deal breaker.

Staff at Rituals (JEM) are super smiley, soft-spoken and helpful. Prices are quite affordable for a luxury brand. Love the hair serum — makes my hair soft and smells amazing! Also got the body scrub, which smells great and feels so good on my skin.

I recently visited the Jem branch and, while the overall experience was satisfactory, there are areas for improvement to match the excellent service I have experienced at your Ion and Vivocity branches. The team was courteous and adhered to policies, but the process for redeeming a coupon could be more customer-friendly. Requiring staff to operate my phone, especially as it involved my bank’s app, felt intrusive. Allowing customers to manage their own devices, as other merchants do, would enhance both privacy and trust. That said, I appreciate the effort of the staff and their willingness to assist. With a few refinements, the Jem branch can deliver the same exceptional service as your other outlets.
