My hair can grow back, but Iāll never come back š„²
I think it was a little pricey for $49.10 for a ābasicā cut and blow, but i was fine with it, since itās at a shopping mall. but what I didnāt expect were the holes that came with the supposedly ālower tierā
haircut that costs $40+ š« Had to swap stylist mid way just to salvage but some holes were just too deep. Thankfully my hair can grow back. Maybe menās hair is more difficult to cut(?)
To protect my fellow brothers, please just go to QB house opposite. Donāt act one atas and suffer the same fate as me. Or, go for the $80+ stylist.

I had a bad experience at Protrim Jem today. I have new hair extensions freshly put on a few days ago so I went for a haircut and asked for my usual Korean hairstylist, Min. I was told that sheās on MC for a week so I accepted their suggestion to let me cut with another Korean hairstylist, Jena.
I had a very bad experience with Jena because she kept cutting the length shorter even after I told her to stop cutting the length and just focus on layering the hair on top. She didnāt know how to layer the hair properly and it was unsatisfactory. I had to ask for a change of hair stylist because she just went back to cutting the bottom even after repeated reminders to her that I donāt want to cut short any further. I told her that I had hair extensions because I want long hair and it defeats the purpose if she kept cutting it shorter.
Luckily, another hair stylist, June, agreed to take over. From the moment June held my hair and grabbed the scissors with confidence, I knew I was in good hands. And just as I thought, she saved my hair by layering both my real hair and the extensions together very professionally. She also assured me that the lower part of my hair is not cut any further, and she focused on cutting the upper part of my hair into layers which was exactly what I requested for in the first place. She also blow and styled my hair for me such that it falls nicely into steep layers which was exactly how I imagined to be. Thank you so much to June for saving me from this ordeal. It would have been a much better experience had I not cut with Jenna in the first place. My only regret today was that my hair length is much shorter than I wanted it to be.
Min has been my go-to Korean hair stylist and I trust her to do a good job because she always listens carefully to my requests before she starts cutting. Min would even use a ruler to measure how much of my hair length is cut off and she asks if that length is ok before snipping off the hair. Such professionalism is much appreciated and I thank Min for the good service she has provided me always, since when she was at the Causeway point Protrim outlet.
I hope that the Korean hair stylist, Jena, learns good practices from the other experienced hair stylists at Protrim and listen to customerās concerns properly before cutting their hair. In my honest opinion, she definitely needs more training to cut hair in a more professional manner.

This is the result of 530 SGD paid. I ask stylist to root rebond, C perm to bottom of hair and about hair cut. But stylist is very very bad and do not understand English speaking also. Even I request not to cut hair first and do rebond also, do not follow and cut a lot. Now I have paid 560sgd and got depression when I go outside and meet with others. Bcos I got a lot of bad comments from my fris when they saw my hair. This is my fourth time go to ProTrim. Previous stylists are not like that and I got satisfied š. But now and never ever I will not go this shop because I got this lesson and now I canāt change back anything. Very very bad.

Had an amazing experience today with Queenie!! She was extremely patient with me throughout the entire process, especially since i rarely visit salons and asked multiple questions. During the consultation, I showed her my inspo pictures & she gave recommendations based on style and my daily habits. I started with bleaching since I was trying to reach a gray colour, and she was very careful because of the damage from previous bleachings. She was also very considerate of my needs and constantly checked up on how I was doing. I am super happy with the results and love my new hair colour :)

I was here for a haircut wash and blow-dry with Alan and he is very quick with his hands and gave a very nice haircut for me as per my request. i usually don't like when a hairdresser keeps making small talks and takes too long to finish so Alan was perfect. He's definitely the guy for doing more than talking and I was done within 45mins. he is also not pushy at all for me to purchase treatment or other add on services (which can be a big turn off in most salons).
