I ordered the salted egg yam’o, black sesame ball and prawn nugget on stick but didnt receive the black sesame ball. Upon paying i realise there was one missing order. I clarified with the cashier and all she did was “Huh?? Huh?? Huh?? Huh??” Rude. Please tell your staff to have some basic customer service.

The Auntie cashier/served is rude. No customer service at all. This is not a market, this is a mall. To Lai order at customer. Is it hard to say hi order instead? When making payment she didn’t accept Brunei money. Ask the other staff & told me grandmother story can’t bank in. Hope management will have a look on this.

today I go and redeem my birthday voucher and the female who looks like a store manager or sth gave me a supercilious look, she thought I was a tourist and rudely say they don’t accept cash in Chinese to me, but unfortunately her Chinese sucks, so I speak back in English that I do not have cash and I never give her cash, you thought I am a tourist and has a discrimination on that, but I am not. Anyways, the service sucks and I wish all the tourists never come here buy

My friend ordered a fried chicken nugget for me, and then I wanted to add one, and then that person said to order it [Angry] together and using impolite tone , before that she didn't ask me. After that, she asked me what I want, and I pointed it out to her, and she took it by mistake, and other stuff said in a very annoying tone "call each food name next time". Not only that, she tell me dont be mad🙄

Food - Bought 1 black sesame ball. The crust is hard, which felt like it is leftover reheated from the previous day. And $1.90 is expensive for such poor quality.
Service/Atmosphere - The employees were arguing and causing confusion among themselves (in front of customers). I think it's unfair for customer to witness their drama, and has to wait for them to sort things out before serving us. Not attentive to order as well. I wonder whether the management even bothers to coach their employees, or try to improve their service delivery at all.

A aunty with short hair doing the cashier got a very rude service attitude. Around 11am going to buy a breakfast , I ask the cashier want to buy a meesiam , she very impatient told me that meesiam haven’t “ hot “ , then I ask how long to take it hot , she very fierce and frowned talked to me “ I don’t know , I don’t know “ . Last time I go on 1030am , she said the meesiam selling time at 11am , now I go 11am she told me the meesiam haven’t hot .

The cashier (lady in specs and short wavy hair) was extremely rude ALL THE TIME! She NEVER pays attention to what you want and always took the wrong item! When we highlighted to her(all the time) she will show you the black face and cold hard stares like it’s our fault she took the wrong items! She has the cannot be bothered attitude and acts like the whole world owns her a living! We were very polite to her FYI but she wasn’t! She also cannot accept the fact that we can make payment with our watch! She will kept saying cannot cannot cannot when she sees you taping with your watch! Please lah OCK, I believe you can do better than this nonsense right! Please send your staffs for re-training or do something about her attitude, she is obviously unhappy all the time and it should be addressed! Hope to see some positive improvement soon!

I am writing this letter to express my deep disappointment with the level of service I received at your establishment recently. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the shocking and unacceptable behavior of your staff members, who displayed a complete lack of politeness and professionalism.
From the moment I entered your premises, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. The staff (aunty)appeared disinterested in assisting customers, and their tone was consistently impolite. Despite my attempts to communicate my needs clearly, they seemed inconvenienced by my presence and showed no willingness to assist me.
To make matters worse, their behavior escalated from rudeness to outright anger. I was astonished by the blatant disrespect I encountered. It is deeply unsettling to be treated as though my patronage is a burden rather than an opportunity for your business to thrive.
As a customer, I firmly believe that I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, the treatment I received at your establishment fell far short of these basic expectations. It is disheartening to see such a lack of regard for customers and a complete disregard for the values of good customer service.
I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and address the issues I have raised. It is crucial for your company's reputation and success that you train your staff to provide the level of service that customers deserve. Truly I nvr likes Old Chang Kee n is always bought by friends for me.Staffs attitudes is 100% vvvvv poor n served customers with "groaning blackface".Be reminded tt we don't eat for FREE..Is bought from hard earned money..System always breakdown n then why GRAB gave customers for "Flash Buy Friday Deals" n totally can't redeem it at all by going to Jem outlet for several times n try to call Boon Lay outlet n number totally can't be connected.Do investigate why such lousy staffs attitudes towards supporting customers like my friends..Vvvv angry n annoyed when I personally witnessed staffs quarrelling amongst themselves n then vent anger on innocent buying supporting customers.As boss of Old Chang Kee do something to improve ur staffs internal teamwork attitudes as paying customers don't deserves bad " groaning blackface"attitudes.
Moreover Old Chang Kee should count blessings when paying customers still support OCK despite of many good curry puffs etc in F&B establishments n OCL is not d only one tt ppl craves for it as products is getting from bad to worst as some foodstuffs is v salty n oily tt easily leads to 3highs,fatty liver etc..I will nvr patronise OCK anymore even is given FREE.Thanks.

Such kind staff that will patiently wait for you if you didn't know what to order. Such kind people that are enthusiastic and waited politely for people to make up their minds even if the line was long. The food was amazing, tasted better than my grandma's food. In a nutshell, Service was as good as their food and Old Chang Kee will always hold a special place in my heart.
