Items are not fresh and yet pricey. Simple crackers also cannot get it right. Sad

They used to priced their nuts by 100gms.. Last nite went to the outlet in jem again, saw the price tag of $3.60 for macadamia nut. At payment I was charge $12 for 200gms! Guess what, $3.60 per 60gms instead of usual 100gms. So pls read their price tag carefully and dun assume they priced their nut all at 100gm... There are some in 70gms too... Business tactic?

1st time buying a mix pack of NUTS & Cranberries (choice selected by myself) @ Jem branch yesterday (price abit higher which I think it should be fair if it's fresh). But to my disappointment... I open & have a try of the NUTs & almost faint... the NUTS (walnuts & cashew already have a smell/taste of overdue (dun know how I shld call it... Hokkien is call "chao pu" already). The only lucky thing is that the Cranberries still taste fine & ate up all & throw away all the NUTS (really waste of money). Seller, please take note not to sell NUTS that is not fresh which will stop people from going into the store again to waste our money.

This place is cheating their customers.all nuts advertised at 3.6 SGD. Only in fine print it mentions that it is for very tiny quantities. Was there thinking to get around 10 dollars worth of nuts. In my shock it turned out to be 32 SGD!!!! It is clearly a rip-off

Most nuts are price at $3.60 in bold lettering. When I paid for th3 purchases , I learnt that $3.60 is for.40gm , some at 60gm and 100gm . This is deceptive marketing . Totally dishonest !

WATCH THE PRICE TAGS. They are NOT $ per 100g. Some items priced per 60g some per 90g, etc and, fyi, the prints are small. Don't understand why they can't just make it simple i.e. $ per 100g. To me, this kind of price labels is rather confusing & perhaps misleading.

I have been buying from Jem outlet for at least 6 years now. Though the price is a bit expensive, I get quality and fresh nuts. I have good experience at Jem outlet except for the Vietnamese lady stationed at this outlet. She is unfriendly and annoying. Lately I have not seen her around, hopefully not to see her again. My 2 last purchases were in Jul. The sales lady (sounds like a Malaysian) at this outlet was very helpful and friendly. I want to thank Fen, she is very resourceful and gracious to help me box and deliver the nuts to my colleague on his birthday. Thank you, Fen!! 😍🥰

I went to this outlet on May 10th, intending to buy pecans, but the salesperson informed me about a macadamia offer: buy 500g, get 500g free. So, I decided to take advantage of the offer. However, instead of selecting from the display counter, the salesperson retrieved a large 1kg packet from inside, claiming it was new. I trusted him and didn't inspect it further. Later, I realized the macadamia wasn't as fresh and crunchy as usual. This is the first time I've been disappointed with this store. I've been buying nuts here for many years, and they've always been fresh and crunchy. I advise against opting for offers that seem suspicious.. Instead of deceiving customers with offers, why not sell items at a discounted price with a tag indicating they're nearing expiry? Taking away 1star for this incident.

Delicious snacks and excellent service by the Uncle Jackie. Definitely worth it when there is a discount.
