Polar Puffs Cakes JEM

Have always wanna try Polar’s products whenever passing by their stall/ shop. Ordered the Ondeh-Ondeh roll cake. The green part of the cake is quite fragrance, full of pandan smell. However, the cake is overly moist which has made it not soft enough. Thus, might hesitate in trying other products range.

The staff was so unfriendly..not even a smile.I bought 4 sugar roll and 1 eclair..was charged $6.80 but when i reached home,they only gave me 3 sugar roll.They charged me 1 piece xtra..Guess not going there again..Disappointed with the service!

Disappointed with chicken pie.Not flaky crust and taste like some wholemeal flour used .Was thirsty the whole morning after eating it..needs alot of improvement..will not be buying again.

Yesterday, I bought two portions of chocolate rice and some other food items from the Polar Puffs & Cakes store. The service was provided by two elderly individuals. Unfortunately, the male staff didn't package the chocolate rice in a box as they usually do, opting to put them in paper bags instead. This led to the cake becoming messy. Moreover, despite purchasing multiple items, he packed them all into a small plastic bag that wasn't the appropriate size. It was a disappointing experience in terms of customer service.

Super bad service, worst service I have met. Pointed at the cake that I wanted and proceeded to the payment counter but the staff asked again which cake I want. It’s fine, I walked back to point at the cake again. If your staff couldn’t tell which one I was pointing, please just asked again properly. However, what I got from the staff was an attitude tone and said “you can read right?” I was very angry and replied with “yes I do not know how to read” then she kind of tone down and said she couldn’t see what I was pointing. This is the service I get when I spend money to buy cake? Totally do not recommend! Spoilt my mood to celebrate a friend birthday due to this.

Staff is very unhappy to serve me. I ordered a puff for a birthday as asked if she can put in a small box, they said they can't, so I ordered two box and they gave me a box that can barely fit two boxes, I kindly asked if I can get a bigger box and they refused and said I have to get more cakes. I offered to pay for the box and they said not for sale. TheyThe face was black throughout and said Boss will scold them and their reputation will go down. Is Polar really that hard up to clear their cakes that they can't even provide a presentable box for a nominal fee? I asked if I could use my own box and they said cannot. Ludicrous service at Jem!

Still the best curry puffs in Singapore. Most expensive too. But worth it even at $2 a piece. Beats the machine made leathery tasting OCK at $1.50. Sales girl bait grumpy as usual. Sales could easily double if more engaging staffs are used. Management probably don't care. Hope Madam Boss reads this.

Was really great disappointed experienced base on their service , really it's so sad... I went to their shop because I needed to get a birthday cake for my younger god brother . I read the recent review before I went to the shop. I love polar puff & cakes , they are awesome..I m their regular customers in Tiong Bahru plaza..their service is great..especially Kary..look for Kary if you ever visit tiong bahru plaza polar ya..look for her.. First thing I step into Jurong Gateway , I ask for the supervisor ..the staff look kind of blur, I forgot her name but she young thin Chinese & wear specticals her duty was yesterday 13th Oct .. I walk into the shop at around 3.05pm later the older lady staff came in.. I was greeted by this young Chinese girl with both of her hands on her head while talking to me..you imagine that..what a service posture I had to see..spoke English to her..& she just reply huh!!! like she don't understand English or maybe pretend to not to understand..I m not a Chinese so I only know basic mandarin so I decided to talk to her in.my basic mandarin mix with English... I shared with them how bad their service is after find out that she told me she was the only one serving last 6 days ago..when I show her the Google reviews last 6 days ... wanted to let them know what the customers saw in their service attitude..that will cost the company reputation ...instead of embrace the feedback this thin young Chinese lady reply " Up to you in mandarin but not the older lady staff.. The young staff reply back by saying , what happened customer themselves pull a long face ..I told her it doesn't matter whether the customer came in with long face or not you still have to serve with a smile & at least say thank you after we have paid . Even my own experience the moment i walk into the shop , this young staff already serve me with her both hands on her head...I have never seen a staff in F&B do that..isn't it dirty to put your both hands on your head even you are wearing polar cap..& is that the way to serve customers.. I hope Polar Puff & Cake management is reading this review.. To all customers & my personal friends if you go by their cakes & puff - is indeed awesome you can try..but if you go by their service then I don't suggest you to go to this branch Jurong Gateway unless you don't mind facing this service standards & I hope it will not spoil your day... Polar Puffs & Cakes Management or owners pls take this feed back very very seriously...it definately will cost your sales drop in this branch unless you do something about your staffs. Bought chocolate sugar roll from this outlet. It wasn’t fresh at all. The side of the roll is hard .. the texture was kinda weird, I’m pretty sure it’s not freshly baked 😏

No or limited stocks after 8pm on weekends. Is like they don't want to have sufficient stocks to sell till closing hours
