My wife and I walked into the store and were disappointed by the service. Despite there being no other customers, two staff members were chatting and ignored us. Even when my wife picked up a shoe and wanted to try it on, we received no assistance. The store needs to train its staff properly.

An honest review on the service level for PEDRO @ JEM. If I could give a -1 star rating I would. 1) First male staff was not well versed on the shoes Pedro is selling. Couldn’t quite understand what “blisters” were when asked if the shoes that were hard leather would induce blisters. 2) Male staff was also whispering to me explaining to me as a customer; I mean it’s not ASMR, I’m buying shoes for goodness sake. 3) Tried upselling flimsy socks and kept asking me more than thrice to confirm that I will be buying the socks or not before he opens it up from packaging to allow me to try with the shoes. 4) Female staff then stood guard by me when I said I would want to wear the shoes upon purchasing as I would want to go out with it afterwards. The body language of hers, made me uncomfortable, standing within my personal space, as though I would steal the shoes before paying. 5) The whole experience of the store was not welcoming from start to end. It seemed that I was being profiled as soon as I enter the store. Upon paying, the female staff ridiculously asked me 3 stupid questions one after another. “Do you want a shoe bag?”, “Do you want the shoe box” and finally stood there awkwardly and finally said “Oh you need a paper bag?” I mean, this is really disappointing from a brand that I’ve heard alot of good reviews of its products. This would definitely be my first and last time to purchase anything from PEDRO, thanks to the service rendered by the staff on duty on that day. To PEDRO management, if you can read this review, I suggest sending your staff to WSQ GEMS to upskill them, if not you’re gonna lose more customers as I’ve noticed this is not the only 1 star review you have on Google for the JEM branch.

Staff members need to be trained. Some serve at a high standard and some are not trained properly. They surely need a training session for the Sales Associate. It’s almost new year, ask for🧧after bill they said out of stock. (Didn’t let me know after bill also, until I ask😤) I asked if I can take the receipt and go other brunch to get the free angpao, the staff face like 🙄”You can try to redeem if they agree to give you.” Bad experience with this branch, I go vivocity the next day. Received a really good service. DO NOT GO THIS BRUNCH 👌
