I went to play Ichibankuji and approached the cashier, an older woman who was a bit chubby. I tried speaking to her but got no response. She simply moved the items aside and opened a cabinet to retrieve the lucky draw tickets. It was clear she struggled to squat down, so we mentioned that the Ichiban Kuji box we wanted was on the second row from the left. However, she repeatedly responded, ‘Can you wait? 可以等吗?’ in a noticeably unfriendly tone. We were just trying to help, so her attitude was uncalled for. Unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with the prize either, and it took a long time to receive it. Another staff member had to call for help because the prizes couldn’t be found—they were eventually found underneath some boxes. Overall, the atmosphere felt stressful and disorganized. Very toxic. I’d suggest avoiding this place if possible. The lady who handed me the prizes was kind, which I appreciated. I’d consider coming back, but only if that grumpy cashier isn’t there, as her attitude really affects the experience.
