Long queue during weekends(not sure why the hype), came with family, ate and didn't find it worth the queue. It was during lunch hour, although there were no queue it was half filled.
Our main course came before our appetizer. There weren't many staff so it was difficult to catch the eye of the wait staff. Definitely understaff.

This branch at westgate has got very helpful and professional staff. very prompt and efficient. this is a large branch and has ample seating so getting a seat is no problem (weekday lunchtime). The food is alright. i can't be sure if it's as good as years ago. i think the quality of the food used to be better. Drinks are very expensive i feel. abt $6 for a cold iced tea. but still a pretty good meal on the whole.

Good standard place, love dumpling there and spicy noodle. I love this place. It use to be very busy but now not any more. Service is good, I don’t like digital menu though.

Came here about four, five times. I absolutely love this place.
I also always order the same food (shrimp fried rice & pork xiao long bao). However, my most recent trip left more to be desired.
The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice felt frozen, a strange afterbite. This was usually not the case in my previous times herem The taste itself also felt slightly muted and dull, not matching what I usually experience in DTF here.
Pork XLB was okay. All things considered the food was decent, tasty. However, for an establishment like DTF - I found the drop in standard strangr. Especially cause I would frequent the exact same outlet. This was a pity.
Service was top nitch though, just like in any DTF outlet.

The food tasted average, nothing fantastic.. portions are small for the price point, and I find the xiao long bao standard has dropped.

I rarely give review cause it is timing consuming for me. But I’d like to give a special shout-out to Li Jin from Din Tai Fung @ JEM. I’ve visited the restaurant a few times, and I’m always impressed by his consistent and outstanding service. He always greets customers with a pleasant smile and makes sure that our orders are served quickly, even when the restaurant is really crowded.
I wanted to mention him today because my husband actually asked me, “Since when does Din Tai Fung have such great service?” When we brought our kids along, Li Jin was so attentive! He kept clearing the table as our kids made a bit of a mess and even offered us extra utensils and napkins without us having to ask. His thoughtfulness truly made our dining experience more enjoyable.

Food is excellent and hot when served. Xiao long bao is perfectly done as always and the skin didn't break. Pork Bean Noodles is delicious today. Other foods are good.
Staff at this outlet are always friendly with new staff members also polite. Service is fast today despite it been a Sunday
Overall, I highly recommend this outlet👍

Food was great but service was poor. Waited for more than 30min for a bowl of rice. Soya bean drink was out of stock but they informed us half an hour later.
