This review is for the online customer service that I experienced with CMLink. On 14 Sep (Sun), I signed up for a CMLink plan. According to their protocol, I waited for 2 working days for the line to be activated. On 17 Sep (Wed), I requested a physical SIM card given that CMLink does not support eSIM for iPhone 11 Pro unlike other usual circumstances (I have been using eSIM for my travels for years with my iPhone 11 Pro) at an additional cost of $5. Chris told me it will take +2 working days so I waited diligently for the card to be delivered on 19 Sep (Fri) morning. I had to cancel my appointment for a SIM card that DID NOT ARRIVE. The same evening (after not having Mobile data on the go), I requested the SIM card to be sent ASAP, and their response was to wait ANOTHER +2 working days or I could go pick it up at their one and only service centre. Mind you, it means my SIM card will be delivered earliest only on 23 Sep (Tue); more than a week after I signed up. Totally unfair that I had to bear the consequences because Chris did not place the order for the delivery of my SIM card and they did nothing to escalate the delivery.

Live Chat sucks. On line customer service is based in China. If you do not speak Chinese reasonably well, please DO NOT sign up with this service provider. Unless you are prepared to physically go down to their office in JEM if you have any issues.

I have a very bad experience with CMlink. I have one number which plan to terminate next month so I consulted the chat agent for the process of termination. But a few days later my line was cut off straightaway. I feedback to the customer service and than I was told there are no way to get it back because I ask to cancelled the line. Whoever use this CMLink must really careful and take photo for the conversation.

I only choose this company because it is from China my hometown. However their services are so horrible that I had to change to others. I have purchased Malaysia data from them before , and I cannot use it , the customer service asked me to restore my phone to factory settings in order to use their data. No other solution was provided and they just simply charge fees no matter if we use it or not . Every single time call their customer service, you feel either they don’t understood Chinese or they don’t bother to solve your problem at all..

In late August 2025 I bought a new Samsung mobile phone from CM Link’s staff by the name of Enzo and I was very pleased with his efficient & fantastic service as he did a very good job in transferring all my apps without any hiccups.
