Affordable suan cai fish dish in a mall. Been to their flagship store in Orchard, happy to find this in the West. Fresh fish, 2 free sides, and rice for $13.80. Can’t complain.

酸菜鱼 is getting really popular in Singapore, there are the famed specialty shop like 太二 or the generalist 川菜 restaurants you find in various communities (especially those that have a 100 items on menu ;) OK, personality, I don't like this rendition (it's my first and probably last time trying). For a start, I'm not a fan of their garlicky recipe. The flavour also lacks the punch and distinction of 太二 (that's like 3x the priceof course), I also found the garoupa a tad fishy. They "lose out" to the experience from those generalist 川菜馆 because you'll get so many other items on those menu to complete the meal.

$13.8 for the suan cai fish, 2 free sides and it comes with rice for free. But if you didn’t want rice, nothing else was given. Soup is drinkable. Fish is little, no other veg inside.

5 star for freshness, with clean flavours of rich collagen soup lets the ingredients shine. My first time to this JEM one, been to the other 2 (usually at the Wisma). One word - consistent!

The fish meat is too little. Only 4-6 pieces. At least should have 4-6 pieces more ! The price is not cheap in such foodcourt. Not recommended!

Portion too small!very very small! I order one 酸菜鱼,and add extra 2 portion fish,it cost around $24,and the amount of fish just little bit,I asked them, they say they add fish is half portion,so I add 2 portion is their 1 portion, what a ridiculous reason, why menu never write clearly say only half portion ?very disappointed!
