The duck is not the best, but everything else slaps. The chili is really their reason for existence, and why they're the biggest duck rice chain in singspore.
Sauce was good, intestines was decent, the taupok was esp good
Rice sucks, but idk if anyone orders rice I think everyone who frequent yew kee knows you get their Kway, since the soup is good

Previously, I associated Yew Kee (or Yu Kee?) as the go-to place for Teochew braised duck, but I now discovered that its Kway Chap is also (or more?) popular with customers, which I saw was the case at this outlet. Today, my party of three ordered three Kway Chap Sets with add-ons of Salted Vegetables and Beancurd, and later, a Quarter Teochew Braised Duck. As regards the Kway Chap, the kway chap itself was very good and it came in a bowl of nice herbal soup. As for the "proteins", the wide selection therein was very good; especially the pig's skin. And the dipping sauces here paired very well with the "proteins." And the Teochew Braised Duck? As usual, it was very good. I also have to say that the service at this outlet was very good - friendly and helpful. As for the atmosphere here, I wished it was not so "cramped."

Portion size can be much much better, added $3 for additional pig skin and it looks like normal serving portion. Taste wise is alright, their chilli is good

The staffs are super super rude ! I scan and pay with the QR code displayed there. And my side shows it’s successful. 2 of the staffs (1 guy and 1 woman) the guy can be seen in the picture. Accused us and deny that we did not pay them. Because they had a system where if the payment went through it will have notification. And of course to my defence I showed them the successful payment page. They raised their voice at me. Saying the payment did not went through. Straight after that, their system had notification. The excuse they gave was the system is new and their connection is bad. Come on please, the least you could do is to tell us (the customers) to wait for awhile while they check if they received the transaction. And not straight away accuse us and raise their voice at me !!! Super bad service !!!!

meat & tofu portion is miserable thin/small for the duck rice #1. $1 to add tofu is not even a full piece. a full piece tofu size is probably approximately 5x5cm. Expensive

This is the smallest portion of duck meat I have ever received. For $5.80, I am never coming back here again………

Near 8pm, the duck is cold and lumpy. Rice clumps together and seriously it's feels like kept in fridge then take out and eat after an hour. Saving grace is the hot soup but it's kinda salty.
Tables not only have stains at the top. But pls be careful at the sides of the table also have stains. Don't dirty ur shirt.
Customers alr put back their plates and bowls. But staff that cleaning the tables.
Common to have big patches of stain.

Had Braised Duck Porridge. Portion is ok. Porridge is ok. Duck meat is very tough and have small bones. Soup is so salty and cannot drink at all.

I don’t think the duck gravy or the food handling were particularly hygienic. My kid had multiple diarrhoea after taking the duck rice set.

Decent duck rice in the west Singapore. This branch has more varieties of sides than their counterpart in Bukit Batok e.g. chicken char siew, roast pork, braised pig trotter. Canned drinks and hot drinks (coffee, tea) are available. Taste and food quality was good. Service crews were polite.
