Fantastic service by two of the staff (Lim & Lawrence), we bought 2 laptop iPads, 1 iPad & 1 phone, 4 of us are senior and IT blind and this two guys spend almost two hour help us download and OJT us how to use the device, more important on top servicing us at the same time they still have to entertain other customer. My Thumb up for both of them and do keep up the good work. Many thanks and will be back again to buy other device.

I am super impressed with Lim and Lawrence at Xiaomi JEM store. Friendly and helpful is an understatement ! They are sincere and genuine. Went all the way out to make us as customers feel so welcomed and comfortable! Real gem in the service industry. I never have the same treatment at Apple or other stores. I think the telcos service industries need people like them. Generally I find telcos customer service is very fake and very robotic! These two are really different!

I’ve always been a loyal fan of Xiaomi and have made many purchases at this store. But today’s experience was honestly disappointing, to say the least. Because I was only buying a pair of earphones, the staff clearly didn’t think I was worth their time. They left me aside and walked out of the store like I wasn’t even there. Wow — so I guess service quality here depends on how much you spend? To make things worse, I intended to pay using ShopBack (which I use regularly), but the staff didn’t even ask and went straight for card payment. When I said I wanted ShopBack, he just flatly said “no.” No explanation. No effort. Just… “no.” Is that how you treat returning customers now? Because something tells me this wasn’t about policy — it was just laziness. I’ve always supported Xiaomi, but this kind of store experience really makes me question whether that support is still worth it. Xiaomi HQ — please get your act together, because your brand image is only as strong as your front-line staff.

My friend and I were at the store from 3.30 to 6 pm yesterday (19/8).We each bought a phone and were attended to by a very helpful and patient gentleman who assured us that we could walk in anytime should we need further assistance. I did exactly that around noon today. This time I was attended to by a youngish fella. While he addressed some of my concerns, towards the end he curtly and impatiently told me that if I had no other questions, he had to attend to other customers. Later I approached him to tell him that he could have shown more empathy to a senior citizen as I needed more time to gather my thoughts. Instead of apologising,he was defensive, insisting that he did help me!

The service here is really good. Lawrence helped me lots when I purchased my kid’s watch. Helped me to put in SIM card, teach me what to do, install and try out. Wow what exceptional service. So touched when I am not good with digital stuff. Thank you!

Horrible customer service from the Jem outlet. I wanted to enquire about the handheld vacuum cleaners and ended up had to “beg” to be served. Despite seeing customers streaming into store, the sales personnel just gave a stare and continued to unpack their new merchandise’s. When I approached for the second time, they were reluctant and used their merchandise to show their temper by dropping the carton box on the floor loudly. Utterly ridiculous.
