It's really bad. The service is very inflexible and they make things as difficult as possible. Shouldn't banks provide convenience to their customers? It took so many times to get it done. Can the management be more flexible? I will never use UOB again.

Unable to update NRIC without providing physical copies of old pass and old passport – they mentioned soft copies can't verify but it's literally the same thing. Wasted time coming down & one of the very few banks that do not support online update.

This UOB branch unlike other UOB branches has two sides. From the wide entrance to the right is the retail banking with the usual facilities like ATM machines & drop off cheques. On the left side is the private banking section called Wealth Banking. Initially I approached a UOB staff at the retail banking side, wearing a polo tee shirt standing on his own manning what seemed to be a queue machine, he does not seem to have good table manners when I told him I had an appointment with a so & so private banker. Seemed lost. He could have simply directed me to the reception counter staff but did not. I got a very poor impression at this point. Luckily there were other reception counter staff who I approach for directions, he was in white office long sleeve shirt wearing a dark blue tie in a dark blue blazer jacket who assisted me with my queries regarding my schedule appointment. IMO, all staff should be trained to handle any customers even if their job was to specifically handle only loans as the guy in collared polo shirt I was told. If staff can’t help just politely & professionally redirect to another staff who can be of help. Simple. Perhaps after training & deployment, bank could send mystery customers to test the readiness of any front facing staff. I would have given a 1-star but was impressed with the private banker professionalism & above all, her patience. Also I was impressed with the private banking section, see picture with multiple Straits Times copies, that looked like a mini clubhouse reading room. Optics wise, nice eye candy for one of the big 3 banks in Singapore in a nice modernized mall like JEM mall. Will be back to see the banker. Tue, 02 Jul, 2024

Poor customer service. Was served by a female staff at the counter QS01. Needed to sign a form but was told e-signature not possible, this I understand. However, after I signed, she still demanded for my IC which I was told at the same UOB branch that my IC was not required after I wasted my time to take a 2nd trip down with a newly printed form. Hope that staff does her due diligence to study up on the procedure on authorising a form that has afterward been signed physically instead of demanding for customer's IC which may be sensitive to give out the information on the IC.

Operating hours until 6pm on a weekday. I went there on 31st Oct 2022 at 3.20pm only to find out the queue ticket issuance is already closed, every though their banner clearly states they may close ticket issuance 2 hours early (which will be at 4pm as shown in the photo). None of the UOB staff offered to listen to our queries, even though I only had a 2-minute bill payment process to make. The Certis Cisco security only wants to be identified as "Muhammad" since he refused to put on his name tag. He was rude and answered stuff that was irrelevant to my questions. I requested to help call other branches to since this is the 2nd time I have been refused ticket issuance by a UOB branch during their operating hours but he wasn't compliant. He proceeded to ignore me and his body language showed a lack of respect. I had to resort to going to the Juring Point UOB branch without any knowledge of whether that branch has closed ticket issuance as well. Such a waste of time especially when I've been going to all 3 branched way before their closing time only to be denied entry. There's a reason this branch has a really low rating of 2.5/5 stars and they are not looking to improve the quality of service. Extremely disappointing experience and I'd advise others to go to Clementi branch instead.

Jenny walked me through my incomplete credit card application. She also went above and beyond to help me complete the documents necessary.

very bad staff i met here… I want to get a stamp on my estatement for visa application.and I got it from other branch when doing my application already. This is an additional one but the staff told me he cannot do then I explained that other branch did that already and this is just an add on one. He just ask me to go other branch instead of resolving the issue for me. I am here so I walk in your branch! Such a waste of time and effort because of the rude service. You destroyed my good mood for whole day ! I come to bank to resolve issue but not to create problems!

Had an appointment book in advance for 11am for Estate account opening, yes we were late to arrive at 11.10am but they serve us at 1pm, it doesn’t matter if we were on time as the queue number was issued when we arrive, then what is the point of the appointment? I understand the banks has a lot of customer and it is difficult to attend to every customer on time but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of an appointment? Might as well be a walk in. I wouldn’t mind waiting for a few minutes, or even 30 minutes max but almost 2 hours waiting time is ridiculous when I had an appointment… Don’t get me wrong, the staff were all very nice, polite and good service I would give 5 stars to them, but I think UOB would have to improve on their queue/appointment system. I apologies that I have to write a bad review on this and thank you for your great service.
