I used to love The Bread Club, but nowadays I "struggle" to find nice things there. I'm saying that the bakes here are bad, I'm just saying that it's IMO losing its competitive edge with the tired selections that you can find at any bakery in the HDB heartland, but in a Mall setting, it's kinda underwhelming. That said, today I took away a Chocolate Ganache Cake. It was good, but nothing spectacular.

Just besides the tai cheong bakery at JEM which I posted earlier, saw some cny cookies and tarts so decided to get some from here for my parents too. Average $14 - 21 per box ($21 for larger size). Huge variety to choose from and the bread/cake section is also neat and choices to choose from. Bread not that expensive though very normal price. Hope the business here also prosperity for 2022!

I always loved the butter cream bun here. Unfortunately the batch I bought yesterday was not as good. Strangely, the buttercream had a sour taste. Not sure wat went wrong. It was a waste of money as I had to throw it away. To sour to eat. Hope the management look into this.

I wanted to make a comparison between PLQ and JEM outlet for the curry naan bread. First impression the shape is different at JEM outlet. i used the thong to pick it up and i can feel the dough is harder but the one at PLQ is soft. When i bite it, the dough from JEM is way thicker than the thinner dough in PLQ. The ingredients inside is salty at certain bite spot, less curry flavour. Kinda of sad the standard is inconsistent outlet to outlet. Think the PLQ shop is still the better one. No offence. Have a good day.

I love their tiger skin cake rolls. It’s taste very good. The tiger skin is so soft. There are few flavours of small little cake in one cake and I try it one by one. Overall, love the tiger skin and small little coffee cake flavour the most! By the way, it is hardly to find tiger skin cake rolls are selling in the bakery shops.

Found a walnut chocolate muffin $1.80 here. Very rich in chocolate, moist and thick. Bit too rich for my liking. Good that I found one muffin here, I went to a lot of other bakeries but they dont sell it. I like that they have GrabPay here so I can earn points.

Lots of little snacks and old school style breads and cakes. I got the fruit cake which was sold in individual portions. Very oily and very sweet, just like how I remembered it to be. The Singaporean style fruit cake. A nostalgic little snack!

This is the first time buying bread from this company,The bread is soft and the cream is nice. What make is company different from other is the packaging they use unlike other which use normal plastic bags. This company use good quality packaging.I will buying from them again.👍

Best pineapple tart I tasted in my life. So buttery, pineapple jam so generous. Never had smth this good at this price ($16 for appro 26 pieces - s size, or $24 for appro 44 pieces, l size ) Never thought something with an unassuming packaging would taste so bloody good. Good price for SG CNY snacks also. I think taste even better than the msian ones I bought and tried (those with long queue) Affordable (for CNY snacks) and taste so out of this world. Really can eat finish all in one day. Mum forgot where she got these from and their packaging don’t have their logo, had to google maps this, luckily got a guy post CNY 2024 reviews and the bottle still same. If only they got website to order or social media feature this more. Really hidden gem. They also got samples to try at the left side of the store near the cashier. If don’t have the sample you want can ask the ladies. They opened new snake butter cookies just for me to try. Only durian couldn’t try. Abit wasted since the durian love letter only $11.80.

Today went to buy Rainbow Cake in the plastic transparent holder. Went to Cashier told slice 6 pieces. The Chinese sales person holding a mop to mop or finish ( don't know), attended to cut without WASHING her hand and didn't wear the PLASTIC HAND GLOVE. Her finger touched the tip of the Cake. While I paid $4.20, I advised her to wear gloves. She argued that using the knife and hand never touch the food item. This is my third observations without food safety handling. The Chinese sales persons are rude to customers. Advise the Owner TBC to teach them on proper Food Safety Handling and learn how to talk to Customers, even though is obvious they are "imported" people. Next time, will report to NEA and SFA. We are paying for the product not free handout.
