Scamed by Samsung. Online S25 sales (10..10 tiktok sales) mentioned could trade in old samsung phone. So I went Samsung online to and realized that my samsung note10+ can fetch $360. So I bought the s25 ultra. Today, went to Samsung at JEM to do the trade in with the given voucher. Sales person keep nitpicking on my excellent condition Note10+ which after so many years is at least a 9+/10. Like a second hand ah beng shop trying to buy a resale phone. After 20mins or so, say that my phone has zero trade in value. I said that your official website says otherwise, then they change their excuse to "oh online samsung sales" has different criteria for trade in. Buy in the shop physically is different from online. We are not under the same management". I said "how am I supposed to know all the fine prints and criteria. I trusted that Samsung is a reputable enough brand. My advice to consumers is don't trust online Samsung sales anymore. They can turn around abd say that they are not samsung. Also, if you wish to trade in your phone. Do it on the spot and ask for the value, they will likely give a higher value to attract you to buy the new phone. Once you purchase the new phone and then subsequently wish to trade in, the stance will be totally different.

Today, 8Nov 2025, I have been attended to by Mr. Vincent Teo, Samsung,JEM for a problem that could not be solved by Singtel outlet, Jurong Point where I had purchased a Samsung hf. Vincent is very knowledgeable, professional, and competent and he solved the problem & completed the transfer of Whatsapp from the old handfone to my new one.I am very satisfied with his having handled the problem. The shop is completely profit making instead of customer service! Despite i walked in 4 over 1 mth, labour fee increased almost 20% over the mth, called samsung hotline made appointments and called over phone at least 3hrs long over 4x across the mth to ensure i have a workable loan phone while the phone is under repair and with all charges waived, only to know i still have to pay an increased labour fee. In my final straw today, after they checked my phone, i was told i have to pay $310 on top of the labour fee $65 for the repair because theres few dents at the back of my phone that may cause the back cover to crack upon opening and need replacement cost. A slap on my face and efforts to repair my phone with the samsung service centre Jem! Worst customer service with complete profit making intention instead of genuine servicing of your stupid green lines due to ur software updates!
