The texture, the seasoning, the sauce … it’s comfort food that hits hard. Also gave the KL Pan Mee a go — totally different from your usual SG ban mian. It’s dry-style, loaded with umami, and that poached egg? It just melts into the noodles. Chef’s kiss Nan Yang Dao also teamed up with Ah Ge, Li Nanxing, to drop two limited-time dishes featuring his signature Hae Bee Hiam. I had the Hae Bee Hiam XO Penang Char Kway Teow with Double Egg — next-level umami, spicy shrimp sambal vibes, and that extra egg? Protein power Also tried the Ah Ge Fried Bee Hoon with Tiger Prawns — flavour bomb. The prawns were juicy and sweet, and the hae bee hiam really pulled the whole dish together. 10/10 if you love seafood.
