Went on a Sunday late afternoon, restaurant was quite empty. But my family always goes back to Dian Xiao er as my mum likes it. Sad that they removed the seaweed tofu from the menu.

Tried Dian Xiao Er recently and the experience was solid. The signature Herbal Roast Duck really lives up to its reputation — tender meat, crispy skin, and a flavourful herbal sauce that isn’t too overpowering. It’s different from the usual HK-style roast duck, but in a good way. Sides were consistent too. The vegetables and tofu dishes were fresh and well-seasoned. Service was polite and efficient even though the place was quite busy. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the portions are reasonable and overall quality makes it worthwhile.

Signed up app to get $40 voucher. Always great taste and fast. Highly recommended the clay pork belly with salted fish, French beans with XO sauce, signature Roasted Duck with Angelica herb, hotplate tofu with minced meat & pickled vegetables, Chinese spinach in Anchovy & conpoy superior stock. Not recommended Claypot raised sea cucumber with shiitake mushrooms & tendon.

The herbal dong quai roasted duck and char siew is damn good; it is a must to order. 😋👍💯 Tofu and vegetables are also not bad. 🥗😊✨

As I prepared to order, she took the initiative to inquire about my membership status and graciously assisted me in reviewing my expired membership and unused vouchers. Although the vouchers were past their validity period, she demonstrated remarkable flexibility and generosity by honoring them. Her dedication to delivering outstanding service truly exceeded my expectations and is a testament to the team's commitment to excellence. The entire team, including the skilled chef, demonstrated a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, evident in the expertly cooked signature roasted duck that showcased rich umami flavors. Congratulations to the team on a remarkable achievement. The restaurant's clean and wheelchair-accessible environment added to the overall positive experience.
