We decided to meet up with Hazel and have lunch at Yakiniku-GO @ JEM. At first, I thought the place would be expensive, but after checking the menu, the prices were actually quite reasonable and the food turned out to be really good! I ordered the Karubi and Chicken Set with Curry Soup, and while I didn’t catch exactly what my wife and Hazel ordered, we all had a great time enjoying our meals. What I appreciated the most was the free dessert you can go to the dessert counter and make your own yogurt ice cream, with a variety of toppings to choose from. Such a nice touch to end the meal! 🍦✨

Have visited many other yakiniku branch before, but this is the first time that ive seen one that offers unlimited sides such as kimchi, radish, cucumber, salad, miso soup and frozen yoghurt! Karubi set 200g is my go to, cant really go wrong with it. There were free curry topping that can be added and the biggest free rice portion one could get is 300g. Moving on to the sides, the kimchi was not too sour , could have been on the spicier side. Miso soup tastes like the usual soup that they gave and soft serve was decent as well

31/8/2025: Wanted to send compliments to Aravin for his warm hospitality and swift service. We were impressed and as usual we had an enjoyable lunch! Another visit during lunch hour on Labour Day holiday, staff was severely short handed, they were still polite, friendly, having good service despite their challenges. They deserve praise and more help! Food is as yummy and satisfying as usual! Cherrie was warm and friendly, professional and swift in her service. Food was tasty and satisfying. We were seated comfortably and served quickly as well. They were a little short handed on a Sunday lunch time as it was full house so it took some time to get attention but when they do notice, they are warm to assist. Thank you!

I’ve visited this outlet at JEM a few times, and I must say — there’s one Indian staff member who truly stands out. He takes great pride in everything he does — from warmly welcoming customers, allocating seats, introducing the menu, to promptly changing the BBQ nets. Despite how busy it gets, he still makes the effort to greet every guest with the signature Yakiniku’ welcome. It’s clear he’s handling multiple aspects of the store operations, and doing so with energy and dedication. This staff is a true gem — please consider giving him the recognition he deserves, perhaps even a promotion. He’s a valuable asset to your team.

As per the other reviews, the Indian server (Aravin?) has amazing service. A shame the Chinese lady in specs was berating a young female colleague so loudly I could hear their conversation from a few tables away, even when wearing a noise cancelling earpiece.. all because a customer wanted to cancel an order and the girl didn’t told the kitchen quick enough. The girl looked new and honestly, the specs lady didn’t have to berate her so openly and loudly, reminded me of the days where I had managers like that.. Later, I overheard the Chinese servers saying “you think xx knows what we’re saying?”, probably talking about someone who doesn’t speak Chinese. The funny thing is the Chinese lady wearing specs that berated the girl, attended to me for meal payment. I was wondering when do I scan for my membership and she asked how I would like to make payment so I thought the membership came after. Apparently, she forgot to ask if I’m a member until while I was tapping my card.. it was too late and the payment went through just said “oh it went through already, u can’t scan your membership anymore”. If there’s not enough time, then don’t ask? Kinda ironic since she can’t do her job well, but scolded her colleague before that incident of smth similar.. I feel bad for the employees working with her.. Food is usual yakiniku go standard. Very worth since it was 50% off for 10.10. There’s free upsized rice and curry and the meal $9.90 (originally $19.90) ended up being $11.87 after gst/service charge.

Kagoshima wagyu promo For wagyu, this really isn't good too. Yes, it's tender, and buttery, but the oil is greasy and there's not much flavour. No sweetness in the fat, and also a tinge of acidity. If you must come, fire it at 4 and wait for a little bit of colour on both sides. Otherwise it's just tasteless grease honestly if you follow their advice of grilling at 1

Me and my wife had fun eating. The beef and pork set were delicious combined with beautiful plating aesthetic of the meat makes one crave so much. The free flowing side dish are also superb. Service also is wonderful and very responsive.

Food is delicious especially with the free flow of miso, salad and etc. Really make the dining experience so wonderful. Environment is spacious and clean. Restaurant Manager Eugene is also very helpful. We left a toy part behind, he is so kind to check for us, keep it aside for us until i go back to collect. Great services. Definitely will come back again. Highly recommended.

I ate dinner here as there was a free flow sides promotion going on, which made it really worth the price! They have salad, kimchi, soup, and even froyo (with toppings!) The seaweed rice is an add on but it’s soooo flavourful 🤤 so I would highly recommend trying it.

Ordered 3 sets of food. Added 3 set of crab legs. Free flow side dish and deserts. Food is fresh. Eugene served us well. He is helpful to help us complete our order online. He also info us to sign up for free membership. BD pax has stamp rewards. Appreciated. The crab legs are salty. I will recommend to chili them with ice water before serving to dilute the saltiness. I miss the beef curry. Didn't ask for it. I like to try.
