This was my first time trying the Tiong Bahru Bakery at JEM. I’ve visited other outlets before, but I feel the atmosphere at JEM really stood out — the service here had a touch of elegance that reminded me of hotel standards.
My colleague and I ordered two croissants — the Ham & Cheese Croissant and the Brie & Roasted Mushroom Croissant — along with a Cappuccino and an English Breakfast Tea.
Starting with the croissants, they were among the tastiest I’ve had. The outer layer was perfectly crisp, while the inside remained soft and fluffy. The Brie and roasted mushroom combination was outstanding, with the addition of mustard leaves adding a fresh, flavorful touch. It’s definitely something I’d come back for.
Lastly, I’d like to highlight the service — the staff member who served us was warm, attentive, and professional. Please keep up the excellent work, and we look forward to visiting again.

Really great atmosphere with delectable desserts! :) The lemon tart had just the right amount of tartness and the honey shio pan was soft and fluffy. Thiru and team were welcoming and we had a fantastic time at the Jem outlet! Will be back again ☺️

This is my first experience visiting Tiong Bahru Bakery, Jem, where I am looking forward to trying their signature pastry offerings, specifically the Kouign Amann. I have picked both the original and chocolate flavors, which I will enjoy with a cup of Mocha to start my Sunday. My initial impression of their Kouign Amann is that it is quite pleasing, featuring a crispy texture, although it borders on being excessively sweet for my liking. They are still good though. Just that I’m not so much of a sweet tooth person.

Came here for breakfast on a weekday morning with my family and it was not crowded at all. My 8 year old son picked this place as he loves their old school croissant - just plain with nothing (I sometimes think that he is an old soul who knows his food well).
My always go-to would be the mushroom Brie and they are always generous with their fillings.
Sky greeted us warmly with a big bright smile as we entered the cafe and took our orders and even made some suggestions on the drinks as he can tell that I was undecided on which to try - he recommended Hojicha Latte which is one of their popular drinks for non-coffee drinkers.
He even told us about the promotion available without us having to ask and I even signed up to be the membership of Tiong Bahru Bakery on the spot since there’s no one behind me (which took about 5 minutes or so), where I got a 10% discount on the spot.
Really appreciate service crew with such great service and initiative as it’s getting rarer in Singapore nowadays. Not only did it made our day, but it also make us more inclined to come back to dine again.

Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) is ABSOLUTELY one of the best bakery cafe’s in Singapore! I dare anyone to challenge this! It is a highly creative, artisanal bakery that fuses several quintessentially French favorites with a slight Asian flair!
The food is VERY HIGH QUALITY, freshly prepared each day, and mouthwateringly, scrumptiously delicious! There is nothing average about it. I can honestly say, in all my visits to TBB, for every single food item and drink I have ordered - my response is, “WOW, that is SO FREAKIN’ GOOD!” It’s like the food makes you stop and make a ‘double-take’, like: “WAIT, Oh yeah, I’m gonna slow down and savor this!” I think most locals probably already know this, but this is a ‘MUST GO’ destination for any visitors to Singapore.
In addition to the amazing food and drinks, they have outlets all around the island in very cool locations that are easily accessible. The atmosphere of each location is unique, but consistently super-cool! This is a great place for solo indulgence, gathering with friends & family, and definitely a hip place to bring a date!
The cafe’s are consistently clean, and the service is always EXCELLENT! I love that they offer “all-you-can-drink” fresh water too! Today I stopped by the Jem Mall location, and Tewaa & Danny were so friendly and welcoming!
Tiong Bahru Bakery will continue to be a regular place I go when I want an exceptional cafe experience!
Thank you Tiong Bahru Bakery Team!

I had a lovely experience at this branch cafe.
The service was prompt and friendly, and the bakery and drinks were delicious. A standout for me was the Angus beef and mushroom pie - it was absolutely tasty. While it's on the pricier side, it was well worth the splurge.

Their bakery items are the finest. Having eaten multiple times here , today was a trial for their matcha but I’d say the coffee and croissants along with the kouign amann are my most favourites.
