We brought our parents to this shop for consultation and getting the necessary goods for Guo Da Li. Kelly was super duper patient and helpful in explaining the various customs and traditions, and recommended necessary items which we otherwise would not have thought of.
We are very thankful to Kelly for her patience and advice. She is clearly very knowledgeable, knows the traditions and customs of the various dialect groups and even the differences between the customs between Malaysian and Singaporean weddings. At the same time, she doesn't impose any of these on her clients, leaving it to the decision and comfort level of her clients to make the call.

Was completely clueless about the traditions for Guo Da Li. 😅 The staff at the JEM outlet & the wedding fair were super helpful in answering all our questions & concerns. Kelly (at JEM) is super knowledgeable about the customs and traditions too. Kudos to her helpfulness. We would recommend going to the wedding fair to scout their deals/promotions if you’re certain about getting the packages!

Update: got to know her name was Kelly. Not sure how she got so many good reviews but I guess she maintained her composure with other customers and didn’t show her actual attitude :) wanted to add that she provided me with the wrong information on the dietary restrictions of the food items in the package. Went to another outlet afree the terrible service encounter and the staff in the other outlet took the effort to check in with the boss, who gave a completely different answer from what Kelly mentioned.
One of the worst service encounter ever. Initially, Kelly started out smiley and cordial. Her attitude changed once we said we wanted to take out multiple items from the bundle, as the items were not suitable for us due to dietary restrictions, based on the information she provided. She was flippant in her responses to our queries, showed annoyance in her replies and told us to just let her know what we want to take out from the bundle in a very smug tone. How can she expect me to know what to take out, when I don’t even know what is in the bundle? I told her the same, and she had the nerve to smirk. I had to point out item by item to ask her, and even then, her replies were less than pleasant.
Supposed to be a shopping for a happy event, but this horrible service encounter left me with such bitter taste. If you cannot handle the volume of the crowd, then please don’t act like you can. It is simply ‘amazing’ that a service staff can openly display and possess such 2 faced service.

Kelly was super nice and patient — she took the time to explain the whole process clearly, which really helped since I wasn’t too familiar with the traditions.
