Before leaving negative reviews, it’s good for us to pause and reflect on our own behaviour and attitude towards the sales personnel. When we point one finger at them, three are pointing back at ourselves. The golden rule still applies: treat others the way we would like to be treated.

Visited the store on 14/3 around 10:20-10:30am ish, and was attended by this lady standing at the herbal tea counter. Bought a bottle of Almond Figs tea and a box of cough powder. The lady at the counter reminded me to finish the drink within an hour. But I told her I might not be able to finish the whole bottle. And she’s kind and helpful enough to offer me a small cup helping me to pour the tea and mix the powder after that still offer to help me throw the cup away. Thumbs up to the lady who helped me today and her colleague for recommending me the cough powder. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went to buy drinks when they are closing. The staff was not careful and opened the cupboard door crashing into my head when I just paid and leaving the shop. Very painful and swollen, I thought I was bleeding but luckily not. Be careful when visiting near closing time. Staff are not attentive to possibly hurting customers when closing store. Could have crashed into my eyes if I am taller. Inside the cupboard seemed empty. Why need to keep the cupboard open especially when shop all lighted and shutter still not down? It is hazardous to open the cupboard doors when customers are inside. No situation awareness.

I am writing to share feedback regarding the customer service at your JEM store. Unfortunately, our experience there did not meet expectations, particularly with a sales assistant named Ashley. Her demeanor reflected a lack of passion and motivation, with unfriendly expressions and an unwelcoming attitude. It felt as though her primary concern was for us to make our purchase quickly and leave the store.
This was especially disappointing as it sharply contrasted with the exceptional service we recently received at your Causeway Point branch, where we spent over $600.
As a leading Chinese tonic chain, maintaining a consistently high standard of service across all outlets is crucial, especially when operating primarily as brick-and-mortar stores. We hope you will consider reviewing the training and performance of your staff to ensure a more positive and consistent shopping experience.

The cashier guy very rude I asked him total how much payment by card. He look at me refused to answer such a simple question. How do I pay with this kind of the attitude, I was keep on looking and double check with hia card payment machine isit he got key in the correct amount. He very impatient he on tapping the machine chasing me to make the payment and refused to answer even English or Chinese at the end shout at me said the amount of money that I need to pay. Luckily he key in the correct amount, never overcharge me if not make us very troublesome with this kind of service attitude is so irresponsible! At jem outlet at the noon time, another young lady staff doesn't want to help him/us keep on looking at us just because we don't buy bird nest we only but herbal tea... Horrible customer service

Went to the store in the noon on 11 may. One male and one female staff were chit chatting. When asked for product, the female frown the brows as in owe her something, not willing to serve then don't serve. Bad service. Just wanting to gift something in rush ,otherwise won't even pratronise this store anymore

I was asked by the staff to wait as she attends to a customer who was already there when I reached. Fair enough. However as I waited and when the staff was done, she served an uncle who came after me. Ignoring my existence. No apology from her after she served the uncle. Such nice service from them. Kuddos to Hockhua Tonic JEM!
