We've been here even before they had their layout changed. And this current one, we loved it so much! Much more cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The food, still a Michelin Bib Gourmand quality that never fails to entice our taste buds. Keep it up!

Surprise to find a “The Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand” chicken rice shop at Jems. Decided to have an early family dinner plus birthday celebration for our dad. Kim was very attentive to our needs and the food all came very efficiently. Food was all good.

This spot has held its Michelin Bib Gourmand title from 2018 to 2025, so I was curious to see if it still lives up to the name. We ordered both the roasted and fried chicken — the fried version was tastier, while the roasted chicken felt a little cold and flat in flavour. I also tried the chai poh omelette, expecting the crispy Thai-style kind, but it turned out to be a regular omelette instead. The chicken rice itself wasn’t particularly fragrant either. On the bright side, prices are affordable and portions are decent, making it an easy, casual meal option. Overall, it’s okay — not bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

Ordered a single portion roast chicken thigh rice, food was nice, green chilli stood out for me. Service was good, and you can get a free drink when you leave a review! :) 😊☺️🙊🙈🙉
