Wish i can give 0 star but have to give 1 star so i can leave my rating and peace of mind here. I lived nearby Jems mall amd often went there to walk around to shop for stuff and for food. And only have the time to write here today. Few months ago went to giordano and firstly the staff are mostly foreigners as i have no issue with them being foreigners. But i saw 1 or 2 young staff (looked local) and i assumed they are part timers and i overheard and notice being “pushed around” and bullied. i understand that these part timers could be students or probably on school attachment who knows. Poor kids! Such toxic environment to be working there with foreigners as dominants which i happened to notice being so arrogant towards these kids. And also being mean especially one particular one and i assume shes the store incharge or store manager. I really cant imagine when these kids are in the backroom without any customers presence! Yes i stayed in the shop long enough to notice and not my first time in that shop. Please educate your staff on basic human respect not just making sales. They should show good examples not create a toxic working environment for them and other staff. Not stepping into that store anymore also will inform my friends and relatives too about it. Because eventhough infront of customers they are friendly and very helpful but i feel its all just for show and not sincere and im sure my friends and relatives and also myself wouldnt want to support bullies. These kids or people that being bullied or insulted in presence of customers or behind closed doors (like in your store room or back room whatever you all called it) their mental health matters! In case you wonder, all these will affect their self-esteem. Well not that anyone of the staff there care about it but i just want to mention all these here hoping that others will some how notice and can do something about it. Thanks.

A part time sales lady was very friendly and approachable. She even went to the extent explaining other products and pros of different fabrics. The guy at the register was smiling most of the time and fast in closing the transaction. Kudos keep up the good work.

I bought 2 jeans on Sunday 25 Feb and was assisted by a lady who was friendly. She advised that we can exchange the item as long as we have the receipt. I didn't try it on the spot as the store was closing soon. After trying at home, I realised I needed a bigger size so I went down to the same outlet (Jem) today (27 Feb) to exchange the items. I asked a lady steaming some cloth about the exchange since the other guy staff at the cashier was busy on the phone. She had an annoyed expression and asked us to go ask the cashier. So we went and waited for the guy to finish talking. Then we told him we want to exchange then he advised that the jeans could become bigger with time and double and tripled asked us whether we really want to change. We say yes as it was quite tight. Then he had a oh well if u insist face and went to get the bigger size for one of the jeans. Other Jean was not allowed to change as one of the tag was torn off. He also took the receipt and told us that we cannot take it back. I think that they could provide a better service. Had a bad experience today.

Ridgly & Patrica from Jem's Giordono were AMAZING. When my father and I entered the shop, Ridgly attended to him politely when my dad spoke to him in mandarin. He remained smiley and friendly even though he couldn't understand. Patricia went the extra mile to search for the right size for my dad and shared with us all the discounts patiently. Thank you so much for making our shopping exp so smooth n easy, I acknowledge your kind help today. :')

On 29 Jan my Bestie and I plus her husband when to ur shop for cny clothes we were looking around and my bestie saw the clothes she wanted but she only took one we didn’t know is on offer than when sales lady come forward and tell us if we buy one clothes is original price $19.90 but if we buy 3 clothes is only $30. We found it, it was worth go we go get another two clothes but what happen was we were choose the clothes to see what is nice. We were just talking among ourself about the shirt look like white and cream colour cause of the lighting we both different colour and that when sales lady come in and stand beside us said the shirt is white also told my bestie is she blind?? Hello! How can u tell a customer like this? Is this how u even serve a customer and even tell us that they are closing the shop soon at 10pm. It not even 10pm yet! It only 9pm but chasing us out of the shop is this how u even serve customers and even chasing us out?? We saw the opening hours is from 10:30am to 10pm. We can don’t even buy any of ur clothes but my bestie the clothes that why buy it. Please go and train ur staff well this kind manner teach before coming to work and the attitude of serving customers as well.

Wow service. Wow prices. Wow merchandising. Wow to the lengendary Giordano Service - even though founder is long gone. Sales supervisor sets the tone and pace. After my third walk-in of the day (May Day) everyone still welcomes me enthusiastically. Not buying? Smile still there - just like in Hong Kong. This is the place to buy street clothes
