I went to City Chain at JEM yesterday, fully ready to buy a watch — not just browsing, buying. Yet the salesperson on duty couldn’t care less. He didn’t even bother to acknowledge my presence, let alone offer assistance even after I requested his attention. I stood there waiting, clearly interested, and he didn’t so much as turn around. The sheer indifference was astounding. If this is how City Chain treats paying customers, I’ll gladly take my money elsewhere. Ignorance isn’t luxury service — it’s just plain bad manners.

I visited the City Chain Jem outlet and was impressed by the Solvil et Titus watches displayed. Although I hadn't planned to buy a watch, the unique design caught my attention, reminding me of my fond memories with mini watches from 1995 to 2015. The staff, Choon Peng Lee, demonstrated exceptional patience and customer service skills. Even when I initially decided not to make a purchase and left the outlet, he didn't pressure me. Instead, he was happy to assist me when I returned 30 minutes later, eager to make a purchase. The Solvil et Titus watch was indeed a catchy piece, and I'm glad I gave in to my desire to own it. Choon Peng Lee's professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable.

Bought a Seiko watch from this shop. Salesman Alex is very patient and passionate in helping customers to choose the right watch and teaching them how to operate it. Strongly recommended.

I went to get my watch fixed, but the staff rudely brushed me off and told me to contact the “agent” (what is that??). I wanted to ask more about what he meant but mid conversation he walked off to talk to a customer that just came in. Very rude and very unhelpful, in the end I just walked down a few stores to a different watch store that immediately knew how to fix my watch.
